The EABCN is a forum linking academic researchers and researchers in central banks and other policy institutions involved in the empirical analysis of the euro area business cycle. The forum’s purpose is to achieve a better understanding of the business cycle.
The EABCN organises training schools and conferences for central bank researchers and incorporates the CEPR-EABCN Euro Area Business Cycle Dating Committee which dates turning points in the business cycle in the euro area.
